This 3-day–2-night tour from Ho Chi Minh City offers a complete and memorable journey through My Tho, Ben Tre, Can Tho, Chau Doc, and Tra Su Forest.

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – MY THO – BEN TRE – CAN THO

Morning

Ánh Việt Travel’s bus and tour guide pick you up and depart for My Tho (about 1 hour 30 minutes). Enjoy views of green rice fields and the Vam Co Dong River along the way. Stop at Mekong Rest Stop for breakfast, photos, and local specialties.

Arrive in My Tho and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the region’s largest and most impressive temples. Then board a boat to cruise along the Tien River, passing Rach Mieu Bridge and the famous four islets: Long, Lan, Quy, and Phung.

At Thoi Son Islet, stroll through shady village paths, visit fruit gardens, enjoy Southern folk music, taste seasonal fruit, visit a honeybee farm, sample honey-lemon tea, and stop by a local python farm. Continue your journey on small sampan boats through coconut-lined canals—an iconic Mekong Delta experience.

Afternoon

Travel to Ben Tre to explore a coconut-candy workshop, walk through Tan Thach Village, observe the rustic countryside lifestyle, and enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

At 15:00, return by boat to My Tho before heading to Can Tho. Check in to your hotel, have dinner, and explore the vibrant Can Tho night market at your leisure.

DAY 2: CAN THO – CHAU DOC – TRA SU CAJUPUT FOREST

Morning

After breakfast and hotel check-out, take a boat trip along the Mekong’s lower branches to visit the Cai Rang Floating Market. Experience river trading culture and observe boats selling fruits, local produce, and breakfast dishes.

Continue to a traditional noodle-making village to learn how Vietnamese rice noodles are produced. Take a walk through the village, meet local residents, and test your skills on a bamboo “monkey bridge.” Visit fruit gardens and capture scenic photos before departing.

Afternoon

Head to Tra Su Cajuput Forest. Drift through emerald mangrove channels on small boats, admire the diverse birdlife—storks, herons, and other tropical species—and enjoy the peaceful wetland scenery. Drive to Chau Doc afterward, check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner, and explore Chau Doc by night.

DAY 3: CHAU DOC – HO CHI MINH CITY

Morning

Enjoy breakfast and check out. Take a boat trip to visit floating fish farms and learn about traditional fish-raising techniques on the Mekong. Continue to a Cham weaving village to observe handcrafted textiles and visit a local mosque.

Noon

Have lunch at a local stop along the return route to Ho Chi Minh City.

Afternoon
